News Item: Western Province Feathers and Arrows Instructors Workshop 7—8 December 2013

Feathers and Arrows Instructors are the backbone of the national coaching system and part of the federations Long Term Coaches Development program. As such, the dates for the next Feathers and Arrows Instructors Certification Workshop for the Western Province will be held on 7-8 December. In order to qualify for the workshop, members are reminded that they need to meet the following criteria as per SANAA guidelines:

The candidate:

  • Must be a member in good standing of a SANAA accredited archery club at the time of the announcement of the dates of the course.

  • Must be a member in good standing of SANAA at the time of the announcement of the dates of the course

  • Must carry the endorsement of his/her Provincial Executive

  • Must have personal experience of archery. You do not have to be a competition winner but you must at least be able to shoot reasonably well and follow basic form

  • Must have been actively involved in assisting with coaching at a beginner/novice level for a minimum of 6 months at the time of the announcement of the dates of the course



All members who meet the above criteria and would like to attend the workshop are invited to submit their application for provincial endorsement before next Friday, 15th November 2013 via email.
